Walibu Pre-Marketing Essentials

Your guide to a successful grand opening!

1. Complete Walibu Onboarding Process

Ensure that you've completed the full Walibu onboarding process. This will provide you with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary for a successful launch.

2. Order Marketing Banners

  • Opening Soon Banner: Order and hang an "Opening Soon" banner to create buzz and anticipation in your community.
  • Now Open Banner: Have a "Now Open" banner ready to switch out once your store opens its doors.

Note: While we do not provide the physical print materials, we can supply the necessary graphics. You can take these graphics to a print company of your choice to produce your banners.

3. Confirm Launch Promotion

Discuss and finalize the promotion you'll run at launch. Some popular options include:

  • Free 20: Customers receive 20 free credits for signing up.
  • 20 for 20 Matching: Customers receive an additional 20 credits for every 20 purchased.

Important Notes:

  • Only run one promotion at a time to avoid confusion and to measure effectiveness.
  • Avoid digital pre-opening promotions to prevent overcommitting before the store is fully operational.

4. Coordinate Ribbon Cutting with the Chamber of Commerce

  • Reach out to your local Chamber of Commerce to negotiate a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
  • Tip: Your grand opening can be scheduled after you've been open for 30 days or more, allowing you to work out any initial kinks.

5. Preview and Approve Print Materials

Preview the available print options through the Walibu site and select the materials that suit your needs. Remember, we can provide the graphics for you to take to your preferred print shop.
