Alanis Morissette teased fans with exciting news ahead of her back-to-back tour this year.

2026 will be a busy year for the ‘90s alternative rock icon after announcing her upcoming shows in the UK and Ireland.

However, before officially kicking off her highly anticipated tour, the “Hand in My Pocket” hitmaker invited fans to join her for her “first show of the year.”

In an Instagram post, the 51-year-old announced she is set to play a one-night show in Lincoln, California. She will be performing her classic hits, including “Ironic,” “Head Over Feet,” “You Oughta Know” and more at The Venue at Thunder Valley on Feb. 13.

Besides the announcement regarding the upcoming show, the Canadian singer-songwriter also invited fans to a unique experience.

“First show of the year in Lincoln, California. If you want to, you can join me in a guided meditation backstage. You're invited. Love you and see you there,” she wrote, along with a poster sharing the VIP experience, she captioned.

The package includes the meditation experience, a question and answer session and a photo op with the award-winning artist.

Besides the show in California, Morissette will be returning to the UK and Ireland for her summer tour.

The run begins June 24 in Cork, Ireland, with additional dates across the country, hitting major cities including Exeter, Woodstock, Glasgow, Lytham and concluding in London.

Joining her on stage will be the British rock band Skunk Anansie with indie band Wet Leg appearing exclusively at the Glasgow show.

The Queen of Alt-Rock Angst’s forthcoming summer tour comes after her successful 2025 world tour throughout South America, North America and Europe.

In addition, she also had her first Las Vegas residency, which ran from Oct. 15 to Nov. 2.

After wrapping up the show, Morissette took to social media as she expressed her deep gratitude to fans who watched her perform her classic hits live.

“Hard to put into words what this Vegas experience is doing to my cells and insides. feeling so grateful and fortunate to be surrounded by such masters. more soon… still IN IT,” she wrote, sparking an outpouring of love and support from fans online.

Lincoln, ON – (January 24, 2026) – The Town of Lincoln is declaring a Keep It Clear event and a temporary on-street parking prohibition beginning at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Forecasted Conditions

Environment Canada has issued an orange level warning for snowfall and predicted 20 to 35 cm of snow for the area.

Reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow is expected, and motorists should expect wintery driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

What is a Keep it Clear Event?

A Keep it Clear event is declared by the Town of Lincoln when snow accumulations are predicted. The Town will aim to notify residents of a Keep it Clear event by the end of business day prior. At times, less notice may be given when weather patterns change, and more snow accumulates than originally forecast.

Notification will be provided on when Keep It Clear events are declared and when they are ended via Lincoln.ca, the Town of Lincoln’s social media channels and e-newsletter. Local media will also be alerted to ensure widespread awareness.

During this event, all vehicles must be removed from Town streets. Vehicles left on streets or impeding sidewalks pose significant obstacles for snowplows and increase safety risks for drivers and pedestrians alike.

The Keep it Clear event will typically last 72 hours.Local weather and road conditions will determine how long a Keep it Clear event will be in effect. In some situations, Keep It Clear events may need to extend beyond 72 hours and the Town may need to declare a Significant Winter Event to properly address the winter event. At times, Keep It Clear events may end earlier than originally anticipated due to changing weather patterns and less accumulation than predicted.

What Happens if I Don’t Move My Vehicle?

Vehicle owners who fail to remove their vehicles from municipal streets during a declared Keep it Clear event will be subject to a $75.00 parking fine and may be subject to towing with all related costs at owner’s expense.

Please Do Your Part

Residents are asked to do their part and ensure roads and sidewalks are kept clear so that crews can respond to the winter event. Anyone with fire hydrants on their properties are asked to shovel around them to keep them clear and visible.

Winter Response

Please be patient as Town crews respond to this winter event. Crews will address all Town roads as soon as possible in a priority sequence, beginning with primary roads and progressing to secondary roads.

As an added precaution, the Town will be administering a brine solution on several primary roads, bridge overpasses, and hills to alleviate potential hazards.

Crews will very likely make several passes on most streets in order to address the snow event. Please expect to have to clear the end of the driveway (windrow) multiple times. This is what plows need to do to clear Lincoln streets and allow traffic to move safely throughout the community.

Winter Sidewalk Maintenance

Please do not park on or block sidewalks, to ensure access for sidewalk clearing.
