Remote Surveillance Trailer in Hood River, OR

Businesses like yours that exist in today's commercial landscape have to navigate a litany of complex security challenges that go beyond their property and premises. We're talking about criminals intent on trespassing, theft, squatting, vandalism, and more. Unfortunately, conventional security efforts are often underwhelming and ineffective in managing modern risks. That's because traditional systems are reactive, not proactive, by nature. That means they're designed to respond to criminal acts after they've happened. Typical responses from these systems include sounding alarms and notifying the authorities - but only after trespassers are on-site. This type of response leads to unnecessary false alarms and frustratingly slow police response times, giving criminals the opportunity to escape with sensitive assets, data, and more.

Mr. Security Camera was founded to address these shortcomings by offering business owners like you proactive, comprehensive security solutions you can count on. With innovative tools like a remote surveillance trailer in Hood River, OR, you can get ahead of security breaches, deter potential criminals from committing crimes, and solidify the overall safety of your property without having to rely on outdated security models. By focusing on prevention and lightning-fast response times, we help make peace of mind plentiful for today's most successful property owners and managers.

On Feb. 17, 2026, Hood River Capital Management LLC disclosed that it sold 1,116,598 shares of Tower Semiconductor ( ) in the fourth quarter.

What happened

According to a recent SEC filing, Hood River Capital Management LLC reduced its position in Tower Semiconductor by 1,116,598 shares during the fourth quarter of 2025. The quarter-end value of the stake decreased by approximately $63 million, reflecting both trading activity and stock price movement. The fund held 393,992 shares after the sale, valued at $46 million.

Company overview

MetricValue
Revenue (TTM)$1.5 billion
Net income (TTM)$218.8 million
Market capitalization$14.5 billion
Price (as of market close 2/13/26)$128.74

Company snapshot

Tower Semiconductor is a leading independent semiconductor foundry with a global footprint and a focus on analog and mixed-signal technologies. The company leverages advanced process capabilities to address complex customer requirements across multiple high-growth end markets. Its scale, specialized technology portfolio, and diversified client base position it as a key supplier in the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

What this transaction means for investors

Hood River sold most of its Tower Semiconductor shares, which had a monster run last year. The stock traded at a lower valuation a year ago but has been re-rated for the growth opportunity in the company’s silicon germanium and silicon photonics advanced platforms.

Tower posted solid financial results last year, driven by strong demand for its power management and image-sensing products. But the market is assigning a much higher valuation to the stock than it was a year ago. Hood River likes to buy stocks of companies with above-average earnings growth prospects and attractive valuations.

Tower is well-positioned for long-term growth, serving an increasingly valuable role in supply key technologies for physical artificial intelligence (AI) products. But there could be more attractively priced growth stocks that Hood River likes right now.

Hood River, Ore., Feb. 19, 2026 — Following an extensive search process, the City of Hood River has selected Michael (Josh) Rogers as its new Fire Chief. The search was initiated when Chief Leonard Damian announced his retirement after more than nine years with the City of Hood River Fire Department.

Rogers brings proven leadership experience and a deep understanding of EMS and fire operations to his new position. He began his fire service career as a firefighter/paramedic in Hapeville, Georgia, and later continued his career with the City of Dallas, Oregon, where he has served since 2022. In both departments, he progressed through increasing levels of responsibility, including the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain, Shift Commander, and most recently, serving as the Deputy Fire Chief in the City of Dallas. His experience with establishing procedures, mentorship and training, budget reviews, working with healthcare partners, and emergency management position him well to lead the City of Hood River Fire Department.

Rogers was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where growing up in a large, dynamic city shaped his appreciation for community, teamwork, and public service. He spent much of his early career in Atlanta, where he met his wife, Andrea, and the two lived for a decade before relocating to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to her family. While the move marked a significant change, Rogers has embraced the region and now proudly calls the Pacific Northwest home. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, visiting the coast, and following his favorite sports team, the Atlanta Braves.

“Our City is fortunate to welcome a dedicated and experienced fire service leader,” said City Manager Abigail Elder. “Josh understands the challenges and strengths of a modern fire and EMS agency and brings a collaborative approach to serving our community. We look forward to his work with City staff, local area fire departments, and regional partners as we continue our commitment to high-quality emergency fire and medical services.”

Rogers received his Bachelors of Science in Fire Administration from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Alabama, holds a Pro Board accredited Fire Officer IV certification, and earned his Executive Fire Officer certificate from the National Fire Academy.

The City of Hood River’s mission is to provide essential services at the lowest possible cost to continually enhance the quality of life in Hood River. The City of Hood River incorporated in 1895, is located at the confluence of the Hood River and the Columbia River, about 30 miles north of Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak. It is 60 miles east of Portland, Oregon’s largest city. Total area of the City is 3.4 square miles, with a year-round population of 8,000.

The Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River is currently hosting “Black Infinity House,” a free, immersive art exhibit on display for Black History Month until March 29.

The exhibit is arranged into three spaces — an artist’s studio, a living room and a porch — that visitors walk through to experience art made by more than 30 Black Oregon artists whose work spans different genres and generations.

It includes fabric art illustrating the timeless landscape of the Columbia Gorge; painted portraits of Black, tattooed youth; a series of works made by burning designs and illustrations onto wooden canvases painted with imagery of snakes, skulls, hair and hands; handmade beaded jewelry.

August Oaks, a Hood River designer and producer is the curator of “Black Infinity House,” which he created to celebrate the expansiveness of Black identity. Oaks is also a member of Black in the Gorge, a grassroots organization that started five years ago in Hood River to ease the isolation Black, biracial and multiracial youth and adults can feel living in the Gorge.

From organizing the first Juneteenth celebration in Hood River in 2023 to its Black History Month events this year, the group has been expanding its programs and its profile within the communities it serves.

Oaks and Black in the Gorge co-founders Evelyn Charity and Stephanie Harris, whose jewelry is featured in the exhibit, join us for more details.

“Think Out Loud®” broadcasts live at noon every day and rebroadcasts at 8 p.m.
